Installing a New Profile

 


Requirements

This document has been designed to illustrate how to install a new profile in Xactimate Version 24. Before a new profile can be installed on your system, the profile must be added to your company’s key code. If you are unsure that your company has the new profile added to your key code, you may contact our sales department at: 1-800-424-9228. If you are working on a network environment, all other users must exit the program.

 

  1. Login to Xactimate.

 

  1. From the services menu, select the option “Install New Profiles...”

 

 

  1. After your computer has connected to XactNet, the Select products window appears. A list of all the available profiles on your key code will be displayed.

 

 

 

  1. Place a checkmark next to the new profile you would like to install and also any other profiles that are already installed on your system and then click Next.

 

  1. When the process is completed, a message will appear informing you that you must restart Xactimate in order for the changes to take effect. Click OK to the message.

 

  1. The next time you login to Xactimate, you will notice you now have the new profile as an option.
